“Joy in the Journey” soon to be released!

Jamie’s new recording, Joy in the Journey, will be released in late January 2019. This project includes 9 new songs recorded at Quail Ridge Studios.

Guest musicians appearing on the recording include guitarists Tom Cole (Columbia, MO), Derek Volkmann (Murfreesboro, TN), and Ryan McLouth (Fayette, MO).

Background vocalists include Cathy Cox (Columbia, MO) and Damien Shafer (Columbia, MO). The recording also features saxophonist and flutist, Fred Middlekauff (St. Louis, MO).

The project features seven tunes written by Page. It also includes a song Page wrote with his song-writing friend, Geoff Thurman, who sadly passed away in 2018. Joy in the Journey also includes a song Page cowrote with lyricists Bill James (Columbia, MO).

Jamie is excited to announce that a listening party for Joy in the Journey has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 30th at Faith Family Church. The event starts at 6:45 PM and is free the public.

At the listening party, Jamie plans to talk about and play several songs from the new project and interview some of the musicians who appear on the recording. In addition, Jamie plans to perform a couple of his new tunes and conclude the evening with a time of corporate worship.

After the listening party, Joy in the Journey will be available through jamiepagemusic.com or through a wide variety of online music services.
